    Description

    Unusual item.
    This was a political gift to a U.S. ambassador to Egypt.  It was from Adel Labib, at that time, the governor of Alexandria.
    It is a decorative plate in a nice box and has governor Labib's name and Alexandria on it.  I cannot find another on ebay or elsewhere online.
    There are several of his business cards as well.  I was told he gave them several business cards and told them to carry them wherever they went in Alexandria and if there were any issues to give the card to anyone and state you are here as his guest and they used these a few times and as soon as they pulled them out they were treated in high regard.
    I read online he was also governor of Beheria and is now governor of Qena.  He was also the Egypt Minister of Local Development for two years.
    Neat foreign international item in good condition.
    It is close to 3 lbs with box before packing.
